Moonlight is an oil-based maintenance coating containing 20 to 25% of SiO2.  Moonlight adds a crystalised hydrophobic and glossy layer on top of the vehicle surface.  It offers excellence water repellency qualities, high durability and enhances the gloss of the surface.  Moonlight does not only refresh vehicle that has been treated with body coatings, Moonlight can also be applied as a standalone product which too would increase the gloss and hydrphobic properties of the vehicle' surface.

Very easy to Apply. Moonlight can lasts up to 9 months.

Supplied in 250ml Spray Head Bottle.  Please note, after use you must empty the spray head (either rinse out or turn the bottle upside down and spray a few times).  If you do not clear out the spray head the product will set in the nozzle rendering the spray head useless.

            OPTION 2
Using a microfibre applicator, apply the product evenly to the panel and use a high quality microfibre to remove any excess.  Moonlight does not need to be left to cure on the surface so should be removed immediately
    3) Apply panel by panel
    4) Please make sure the panel is cool before applying moonlight
    5) As this product is oil based it should be left to cure for 4-6 hours prior to getting wet.  If there is a chance of the product getting wet then we recommend applying TAC System Quartz Max after approximately 1 hour to prevent water spots.

    Amazing sealant

Moonlight is very easy to apply, almost like a lightweight ceramic. You use very little product to coat the car, it leaves an extremely glossy finish with some of the best beads I’ve ever seen. The only thing I should’ve done is leave it on a tiny bit longer before buffing, I was too keen to make sure I didn’t let it dry but looking back definitely should leave it to flash for the directed time! All in all an amazing product and I can it being pretty durable!

    Can’t get it to last

I can’t for the life of me get this to last or perform to what I’ve seen on the videos. Polished and panel wipes and applied and next wash it was sheeting water quite slowly. Nothing like when I use Gyeon can coat which beads like you would expect.
    I’m sure I got a defective product

    Great product

Chose this after a long time deliberating on which long term sealant to go for. Applies and buffs easily and although doesn't leave the best gloss I've ever seen, it leaves a hard and durable finish. The mega test carried out by Jon (Forensic detailing) suggests 6+ months durability so I'm happy with that. I'd recommend buying a microfiber applicator for the application part. Applying by cloth does work, but it was awkward dealing with the trailing cloth. I ended up folding 4 times into a wallet size and applying that way. Buffing is easy if you leave it no longer than 1 minute (as per instructions). Just do yourself a favour - If you don't have time to prep, then you don't have time to Moonlight. This goes on and hardens like a varnish so will seal in imperfections. I accidentally missed an old hand polish mark on a front wing and Moonlight baked it on like an old bird poo stain. It machine polished off no problem but if you're working with limited resources it's a good idea to clay first then use a cleaner polish. If you want ultimate deep wet gloss then use your favourite gloss enhancer as a topper.

    Seems Pretty Good

I can't comment on longevity as I only used it just over a week ago (Early Dec 2021 at the time of writing) but application wise it was decent. You really don't need to use much to coat a car so it should certainly last in that respect.
It does definitely live up to being very hydrophobic though, even the microfibre I used to buff the product off repelled the water when I went to rinse it off (so although it's destined for the bin I took it as a pretty good sign), as well as really nice beading on the car over the past week.
On the assumption the longevity is there down the line then I'd easily recommend it to anyone considering it.
